Growing Minds
For over 40 years Growing Minds has been committed to improving our neighbors health and wellbeing by providing programs that educate young children, support working families, provide food for those feeding the hungry and ultimately create opportunities to improve the quality of life for residents of North County.
We operate five child development centers throughout north San Diego County for income eligible families, the working poor in our community. Our preschools provide services for hundreds of low income families. Our child development program prepares 2-5 year old children from over 400 low to middle income families for entry into the formal education system. Using a child centered, play based curriculum, children enrolled in our programs strengthen skills that will help them succeed in kindergarten and beyond.
